Whether you’re looking to work regularly every week or just for a couple of hours every so often for a bit of extra money on the side, Zego offers insurance policies designed to fit your schedule. Pay-as-you-go (H&R + optional SD&P)
For riders who work around 20 hours or fewer per week, Zego offers pay-as-you-go Hire & Reward (H&R) insurance to cover your work with Deliveroo.
You still need to have your standard Social, Domestic & Pleasure (SD&P) insurance in place to cover your personal use of your scooter or car. You can purchase this for scooters through Zego as well.
Because the Deliveroo app is integrated with the Zego app, you’ll be charged only for the time you’re completing deliveries.
30-day (H&R + SD&P)
Zego’s scooter policies include SD&P insurance for your personal use and H&R insurance for your work with Deliveroo. It’s cover for your work and your free time, together in one policy.
You can pay for Zego’s 30-day policies either as a one-off, which is perfect for use during a particularly busy month, or as a rolling subscription which will renew every 30 days.
If you work more than 20 hours per week, we recommend considering a 30-day or annual fixed term policy.
Annual (H&R + SD&P)
Like the 30-day policies, Zego’s annual scooter insurance includes cover for SD&P use as well as H&R cover to protect you when you are working with Deliveroo.
You can pay for Zego’s annual scooter insurance either as one upfront fee or in a series of monthly instalments.
If you are going to be working regularly over the course of a year, it will work out cheaper for you to purchase an annual policy than to have a 30- day policy that renews each month.
